On Saturday, November 23, the opening event will take place as an OPEN HOUSE from 3 p.m. – with open studios, drag show, concert and party. In addition, the building by Clemens Holzmeister from the 1930s is itself more than worth a visit.

About the interim use of the Funkhaus
From the end of October until summer 2025, numerous artists will use the second and third floors of the historic building as studios, music rehearsal rooms and other workspaces. There will also be an exhibition space, a darkroom and a ceramics workshop.
The Never At Home association curates and organizes the exciting interim use of the former Recording studios and offices. The initiative promotes art and culture by temporarily activating empty spaces for artistic use. The fact that the duration of their project in one place is limited is part of the self-image of the Never at Home initiative. Its aim is to facilitate artistic exchange, strengthen the Viennese art scene and jointly support creative potential.
We at Kreative Räume Wien support the collective and are delighted that the Funkhaus project is now really taking off! Thanks also to Rhomberg Bau Group and Jürgen Weishäupl for the initiative.
